Please ask your state Senator to support the Perinatal Hospice Care Act, which is now being discussed in committee and may soon head to the full Senate.
Perinatal hospice care has been defined as an innovative and compassionate model of support for parents whose baby has been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition and might die before or shortly after birth.
This bill will require that doctors inform parents of that care in the event of such a diagnosis. Opponents of the bill have tried to tie it to the abortion debate.
