Yesterday, Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), issued a statement to the press urging the U.S. State Department to include Christians among those being persecuted in any formal declaration of genocide in the middle east.

The text of Archbishop Kurtz’ statement can be found here (http://wwwmigrate.usccb.org/news/2016/16-030.cfm), along with a call to action.
