Gov. Wolf and the PA Department of Education are looking to take most of the funding that Congress wants distributed equitably in COVID-19 relief to ALL schools in PA and across the country.

Pennsylvania received $471 million in funding from Washington. But PCC Education Director Sean McAleer says “the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) created its own set of rules to distribute that money that blatantly ignores federal guidance. The end result significantly lowers the amounts to be given to Catholic and nonpublic school students.” Click here to read more… .

May Procession Homily and Photos

During the live broadcast of our May Procession, we experienced several technical difficulties. We are happy to share with you now Monsignor McCormac’s homily, as well as a few photographs of the crowning and of our May Queen, Caitlyn Eisenbrey.

Our God Is With Us Through It All

Happy Mother’s Day

We pray for God’s blessing on all mothers; our mothers both living and dead, spiritual mothers, godmothers, foster mothers, stepmothers. We especially pray for women who long to be mothers or who have lost children in miscarriage and stillbirth or have experienced the death of a child after birth no matter what age. We entrust the care of all mothers to Mary, the mother of our Lord, who understands the joys and sorrows of motherhood.

Prayers for Our First Holy Communion Class

Please remember in your prayers our young parishioners in this year’s First Holy Communion class. Prior to COVID-19, today would have been their special day, their turn to join our Parish Community around the Table of the Lord. Instead, they will continue to pray and prepare and wait. We all look forward to the Fall when we can celebrate with them their First Holy Communion. Until then, please continue to remember our First Holy Communion class and their families in your prayers. Indeed, we should remember all children and adults who were looking forward to receiving their First Holy Communion at this time of the liturgical year.
