The Equality Act and What It Means for Catholics

A Message from the Catholic Diocese of Arlington

Friends,

Thanks to all who watched live last week’s informational webinar: The Equality Act and What it Means for Catholics.  We understand that some had difficulty accessing the event and we are sorry for that inconvenience.

Linked hereplease find both the entire webinar and individual videos of each speaker’s presentation. Key points provided by the USCCB are also attached and appear below the videos by topic with the pertinent presentation. The key points are also available as a downloadable .pdf on this Equality Act Resource Page offered by the Catholic Diocese of Arlington.

Next Steps?

Congress is now on break for two weeks. During this time, which includes Holy Week, we hope all Catholics will pray intensely for the triumph of truth and the defeat of this legislation. When Congress reconvenes on April 12 we urge everyone to engage by calling their senators or sending an email to oppose the Equality Act.
