“I Have Loved You”
On the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, October 4th, Pope Leo XIV released his first Apostolic Exhortation, “I Have Loved You.” Commenting on the Holy Father’s letter, Archbishop Nelson Perez said, “His letter calls for a much needed and renewed Christian Commitment and closeness to the poor through charitable action and efforts to address systemic issues that create endless cycles of poverty throughout the world.”
